The Lift 3 is an ideal kite for riders looking for performance. It has many adjustment settings to allow you to fine tune the performance and style that you are looking for.. If you don't want to mess with technical settings, leave it on the classic setting and enjoy worry free kiteboarding!
The GK Lift 3 Kiteboarding Kite has a thin and rigid profile allows you more control twist. The larger wingtips give you the ability to turn the kite faster.
The GK kites have many years of research and development, essential to make reliable, high performance kites. Matt Pendle has been designing kites for 7 years!
The GK Lift Kiteboarding kite is very feature rich!
The KPO, "Kite Power Optimizer", is a unique bridle that moves throughout the turn to optimize the turning speed of the kite.
The Reverse KPO and the "Flex Strut System"(FSS) give you more speed, more lift and bigger airs. It also gives you more responsive control of your kite. The struts flex in gusty winds to soften the impact on the kite allowing it to "breathe" during gusts instead of yanking you.
The Tri-Bridle System (TBS) with the 5th Line allow you to re-launch the kite off the water easily!
It is also still possible to ride without any system for a more classical adjustment.
You have 3 possible setting to fly the GK Lift 3: Use the KPO for a smoother kite that opens, no KPO for a classical ride, the Reverse KPO for a radical turning kite for easy loops The KPO simply allows a wider range of wind use and kite performance.
Front lines are not fixed but move between two points around the central pressure point. When you’re powered up, the front lines move behind the pressure center, and the kite gives you a gruntier more powerful feel. When you depower, the front lines move to the front of the kite, decreasing the angle of the canopy to the wind and depowering the kite. Even small movements of the front line sliding ring, combined with the leverage effect of being a few inches off the wing tip, is enough to radically increase the wind range of your kite.
