The kite is a 2003 model kite so it pre-dates the modern bow kites. This kite will lack in the de-power ability(compared to 2009 model kites) so its wind ranges are more narrow and need to be respected.

This kite will be best for someone on a tight budget that simply can't afford a newer kite. It would still be fine for a beginner, but you have to accept that kites in this price range do not have the de-power ability or the ease of water relaunch of 2009/2010 model kites.

This is complete with the control bar, flying lines, safety system, and kite backpack.
