At Wind Wizards, it is our goal to find just the right kite for your needs. Please allow the experts at Wind Wizards Kites to guide you in our selection of the World's greatest kites from top manufacturers such as Prism Design, Premier, Go Fly A Kite.

At Wind Wizards we realize, the right equipment can easily make the difference between a great time and a frustrating one. Wind Wizards wants to help you choose the right kites for your needs and skill level. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, we suggest that your equipment should always be a little better than your skills. In the long run, it usually costs less to buy one kite you can grow into than to buy a second one after your first few flights. You'll be surprised at how fast you learn!

There is no single sport kite that's right for every wind condition and flying style, so in time you'll probably collect several kites that let you fly in every condition. we've grouped the models we offer into four categories:

Ballet kites such as the Prism Illusion are the most versatile sport kites you can buy, Ballet kites are designed for competition pilots and recreational pilots who need full-sized kites with agility, excellent acrobatic or trick capabilities, steady speed, and rock-steady tracking and precision for compulsory maneuvers. Because conditions can change during a competition routine, a wide wind range is also essential. Though competition-worthy kites are generally more expensive, their versatility makes them a good choice for serious recreational pilots who want to be able to do almost everything with just one kite. Wind Wizards offers a wide variety of Ballet kites, so you can choose the one that is right for you!

Trick kites such as the PRISM FANATIC or the Elixir are the acrobats of the kite world. They are designed with a radical edge to do all of the tricks in the book (axels, backflips, flat spins etc.) plus a lot of tricks we haven't even discovered yet. They are generally a bit smaller than full-sized, which makes them quick and responsive, and they have a lighter pull which makes tricks easier in stronger winds. Because you'll make plenty of unplanned landings as you learn radical moves, our freestyle kites are built tough to take a pounding. This makes them a good choice for pilots at all levels who like a challenge and want to learn more tricks.

Indoor Ultralight Kites are the fastest-growing area in kiting. In the past few years we have developed ultra-lightweight carbon spar constructions and sophisticated wing designs that let us build kites that can be flown in literally no wind. Just walking backwards with an indoor kite in a still room creates enough airflow over the wing to fly over and around you. Freed from the constraints of a single wind direction, indoor flying is a graceful, fluid dance in which kite and pilot are partners in a whole new repertoire of maneuvers. Outside, an indoor/ultralight kite in your bag means their's never too little wind to fly. Wind Wizards offers a indoor/ultralight kite for each piloting level.

To create the perfect kite for beginners is in many ways a kite designer's ultimate challenge. Ideally, it should be simple, unbreakable, easy to fly in a zephyr or a hurricane, stable and forgiving yet challenging enough to grow with, and equipped with everything you need to go flying. It should also be inexpensive so that anyone can afford to try our sport. Our recommendation for this level is the STINGRAY.

To keep beginner packages affordable some compromises have to be made. Many manufacturers cut their costs by using cheap materials and labor to build inexpensive kites that fly poorly in a narrow wind range and fall apart after a few flights. Wind Wizards prefers to offer you a simple, rugged beginner package made with every bit the same quality as our most expensive kites. This means your chances of having a great time as you get started are much better. The compromises you'll find in our beginner kites are in size and wind range. Smaller kites cost less to make because they use less materials. Tough spar materials that can really take a beating generally don't fly in as wide a wind range.
